Wine bar in Nørrebro
Gaarden & Gaden is as much a wine bar as a bistro. The cellar holds around 1,000 different wines, and there is always a proper selection by the glass, so you can drop in for a glass without booking a table.
The list is built on natural and traditional wines from growers we know. The weight is in Jura, Burgundy and the Loire, and we keep a long list of grower champagne from Georges Laval, La Closerie, André Beaufort, Emilien Feneuil and Ruppert-Leroy among others. Beyond that: Alsace, Savoie, Rhône, Beaujolais, Piedmont, Etna, Germany, Austria and Spain.
We know many of our suppliers personally and visit them regularly. It also means the list changes, and that there is usually something on the shelf that never made it onto the printed page.
With the wine we serve snacks and sharing dishes from the evening menu. Monday to Friday we open at 3pm, and the kitchen starts at 5.30pm. Saturday and Sunday we open at noon with lunch.
